From Venezuela to Utah

Who wudda thunk...One year ago we left Venezuela due to political pressures there. We diligently sought the Lord's direction for future ministry. After praying over several invitations to various fields, we learned of the great need for a Hispanic ministry in Utah--the seat of Mormonism.

We have now been in Utah for 2 months, working hard to get a home set up and a ministry started. We are helping for a few months with a new church plant, Santaquin Baptist Church (English-speaking), and launching a Hispanic ministry in the Utah Valley area. We already do have a Spanish Sunday-school going (attendance 5-6) every Sunday at loaned facilities in Spanish Fork, UT.

We are planning a blitz-style outreach soon into known Hispanic communities. We are preparing special invitations and tracts now. Please pray with us for the Lord's working in hearts and for His direction in this "foreign" field right in our backyard.
